《Numerical Mathematics(Theory,Methods and Applications)》主要刊登：計算數(shù)學及其分支學科的具有新思想、新方法的原創(chuàng)性研究論文，包括數(shù)值代數(shù)、數(shù)值優(yōu)化、微分方程數(shù)值方法、逼近、計算幾何、統(tǒng)計計算等等。
《Numerical Mathematics(Theory,Methods and Applications)》讀者對象：主要為高等學校教師、研究生、從事科學計算的研究人員、工程技術(shù)人員等。并被德國數(shù)學文摘、俄羅斯文摘雜志、美國數(shù)學評論等國外數(shù)據(jù)庫收錄。
